I love photography. - It lets the world see things as I see them. What other medium does that ?

I started off with an old Russian camera as a teenager . It taught me about light and how to use a camera to get the best out of it. Digital hasn't changed that except for characters taking hundreds of photo's hoping they get a good one.

I live in Yorkshire having moved from the Lakes and cover weddings, proms, studio commissions, graduations, schools, travel, photo journalism and product photography.

In a strange way there's no real change from all the landscapes I did in the Lakes, because nearly all things have beauty especially women and children. (Men are bit players who compliment the rest)

I could tell you that ' Photography is working with the light and capturing the moment.' But its more than that it's how you see the world and bringing something of yourself into the images you take and people and places you meet.

The galleries on my site show my range throughout the year.They include photographs taken in dark churches in December when I sat wondering why they had asked me to 'do ' their photography. Fortunately ' they ' loved the images and others have too so much so that I know I can do the same for you. If you're unsure have a look at my galleries. I show more images than most photographers. Some show a select few and the rest are hidden away.

I think you'll like the images. If you don't... or do, whatever grabs you, please e mail me and let me know. I will soon be uploading to the Saatchi on line gallery, which is a wonderful bit of name dropping but it's nice to know that I 'm being recognised,probably with thousands of others.

I attend every wedding, civil ceremony or photo shoot with the aim of producing beautiful images that you will receive in modern attractive albums or books or as framed images including canvas or acrylic.

Now the boring stuff - Yes I turn up beforehand, usually weeks before but if all else fails the day before at the venue checking out the details like where the light is at its best etc etc. See you're bored already but this is what you pay for with me. Less crap more photography.... and I do meet with you before the big day. I'm really not into photographing strangers.

I like talking to people and am always on the end of the phone for advice. The best results are when it's a combined effort,it's fantastic when the couple get into the same groove as me.
